About Abad

The Abad saga began over a century back when the first consignment of dried prawns was sent to Ceylon and Burma, then a part of British India. Abad fisheries the flagship business grew and prospered to be counted among the largest exporters of frozen sea food in India. The group diversified into the hospitality industry in 1982 (ABAD Hotels & Resorts) and the construction industry (ABAD Builders) later on. Abad Hotels today owns and operates11 resorts in key locations across Kerala. Abad Hotels are located at Kochi, Munnar, Thekkady (Periyar), Marari Beach and Kovalam.
