Kovalam – India

Kovalam, a fishing village earlier is now one of the most famous and safest beaches in India. It gained international attention after masses of hippies visited the place on their way to Ceylon in the Hippie Trail. The Eve’s or Hawa Beach, the Lighthouse beach and Ashok Beach in crescent shape and separated by promontory rock lands are the peculiarity of Kovalam. Most popular is the Lighthouse beach is the southernmost and has an old lighthouse which stands on a rocky promontory. The light signal beams at regular intervals on the beach adds to the charm of a romantic evening at Kovalam. The Kovalam beach is just 11 kms from ABAD Harmonia and can be opted for an afternoon trip and comeback after watching the sunset
